There is no limit on the types of food exported from abroad and the destination is a port in mainland China. Therefore, the overseas exporter agent, the seller on the trade contract invoice, or the shipper on the bill of lading must be registered. After successful registration, an 18-digit code starting with "YA" will be obtained for customs clearance.
Filing procedures:
(1) Exporters or agents register on the "Internet + Customs" integrated platform and log in to the "Internet + Customs" integrated platform ( https://online.customs.gov.cn/ ) using their username and password ;
2. Complete the application form and submit it;
(III) The General Administration of Customs will review and file and publish the list of overseas exporters if they meet the requirements; otherwise, they will be returned to the enterprises.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Account registration issues: Due to language differences and the different natures of domestic and foreign companies, account registration is not smooth.
2. The company information is not filled in in a standardized manner; for example, the company name should be either the full name or the abbreviation (abbreviation). Although it is the same company, the name on the bill of lading or customs declaration form is not completely consistent with the registered name;
3. The actual trade does not match the business type selected during filing, or the type is not selected.
4. The exporter registration qualification has no validity period and is valid forever.
5. The exporter’s registration qualification does not have a certificate. Do not be misled by wrong information.
6. Due to changes in the Chinese Customs’ exporter registration and inquiry system, some companies do not understand or cannot inquire about their new codes.
Warning about fraudulent websites:
1. Because several registration systems imitating China Customs have appeared on the Internet, China Customs has noticed and issued a "Statement on Guarding against Fake Registration Websites" on September 2, 2024, reminding relevant companies to pay attention to identification and avoid logging into fake websites and being deceived.
2. Customs does not issue certificates, and electronic certificates issued by fraudulent websites are all fake.
3. Customs does not have an annual renewal and fees, which means that the fraudulent website deliberately sets annual fees to commit fraud by taking advantage of information asymmetry.
4. Counterfeit websites use Internet technology to collect registration fees online. This is an illegal act that takes advantage of policy information asymmetry. Please do not pay any fees online.
5. Counterfeit websites take advantage of loopholes in Internet supervision and configure website domain names and network servers overseas in an attempt to evade government supervision.
